Location:  Phachi River Wildlife Conservatory Ampur Suanpheung  Ratchaburi Province
Objective:
As currently, flood is an issue that concerns various parts of Thailand, we see the importance of maintaining a status where there will be a sufficient amount of water to perform day-to-day activities whilst at the same time, remain less enough to prevent flood. Thus, as a water-related club, we believe that in building check dams, this status can be maintained. We have chosen our trip location to be in Ratchaburi as currently, it is a safe (high-zone) where we will not need to face the consequences of flooding and/or other complications.
This trip will be conducted with the assistance of Asa BaanDin Thai organization. As the group has performed various community services throughout the years, they have the sufficient knowledge and required tools in instructing and assisting us in building the check dam.

Trip Update

SOL Community Service: Building Check Dam in Ratchaburi Province
The Symphony of Life Club combines their energy and support with the Baan Din Organization in building natural dams to preserve water for wildlife. The club members have had campaigns such as bake sales and games in the High School breezeway to gain funds for this activity. At Ratchaburi, the students separate in to working groups with each particular task such as gathering rocks, cutting bamboo trees and stuff sand into bags. With the help of the Baan Din associates, the resources will then be use to construct natural dams.

First Official Post!

Welcome to SOL

Hello SOL, this year our club have gained many more members after a successful last year. We have gained members from all grade in high school, from grade 9 to grade 12, so we have decided to create our own webpage for SOL. This webpage might not seem like needed now but in the future it will surely be beneficial because as the year progress, our president and vice president who own the SOL Facebook page will graduate from our school and no one will be moderating our Facebook page. Today we (EXEC) have talked about this with Kroo Yui and we came up with the idea to create a blog for SOL. This blog will be passed on to the next generation of SOL and this will keep the club news running all the time. So ... yeah our blog is in the process of building so its not quite done yet and we would want to ask all SOL members on what to put on the SOL blog. Ex. about page, picture page, staff page etc.

any picture u would like to post on the SOL blog

any design u want on the blog

any suggestion are welcome
