Tribute

Hi,

My name is Tamolwan Ting (Mimi), and I'm the co-founder of the Symphony Of Life club. I can still recall the exact moment of how and when I decided to build up my own community service club. Towards the end of summer between 10th grade and 11th grade, Him Treemethawee (Founder of SOL) asked me if I was interested in starting a community service club with him. I found this a great opportunity to lend hands to those who are in needs, and that was the start of SOL. At that time, both of us didn't know where we were heading with this idea, but we were determined to establish a club that will be helpful to the society. Later in the process, Kaotok (co-founder of SOL) came in the picture. Kaotok help us planned out purpose of SOL, which is to improve the condition of water, and lives that
depended on it.
Once we decided the purpose of the club, we had to come up with a name for it. I would say that this was one of the hardest thing in the process. We wanted the name to be catchy and at the same time represents the purpose of the club. At last, we came up with "Symphony of Life". It was the perfect name for our club, because without water, there're no life. We needed to write up a proposal for opening a club, and we had to ask one teacher to be our advisor. Thanks to Kru Yui's kindness, she agreed to be our supervisor! We couldn't ask for more!
I'm so glad that Symphony of Life is still carrying on till today, even though the finders had graduated. I can see that our club is growing bigger and better everyday. I'm proud to be a part of SOL family, and hopefully this legacy will continue to be passed on to later generations.
